This is one of the finest and most substantial early houses in Penguin reflecting the introduction of grand Victorian house styles by more affluent early residents. A late C19th house the main building is an ornate single storey brick residence of moderate size. The house is highly intact inside and out. Early residents include both prominent Tasmanian photographer J Bishop-Osborne and northern shipping enterprises’ Martha Reynolds.
