Senior Citizens’ Club

This former Municipal Council Chambers and Court House (1908-64) is a substantial Federation building of face brick construction. It demonstrates that Penguin was once a seat of local government and judicial proceedings. With the loss of the Town Hall and early Post Office this building is one of the few surviving civic buildings within the town centre of a self-governing and once-thriving regional community.
