Built in c1910 this weatherboard house demonstrates the typical characteristics of a modest Tasmanian Federation cottage. The adjacent general store selling a full range of grocery goods, fancy goods, toys, stationary, books and seeds was sold in 1948 but later demolished when the house was acquired by the Police Service becoming home for the local policeman’s family.
